“Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear,” ANI quoted the police officials as saying.

Shefali Jariwala, who was married to Parag Tyagi, was rushed to Mumbai’s Bellevue Hospital by her husband and three others. By the time she was brought to the hospital she had passed away, the hospital staff confirmed.

A police team and a Forensics team arrived at her Andheri residence today to investigate the cause of her death. The shocking news of Big Boss 13 fame actress’ death was first shared by journalist Vickey Lalwani on social media. “Shefali Jariwala, the Kaanta Laga girl, is no more,” a part of Instagram post stated.

Early this morning, Shefali Jariwala’s husband was seen walking with his dog outside their house.

Shefali Jariwala suffered an epileptic seizure when she was just 15-years-old, the actress had made this revelation while speaking to E Times TV. A graduate with degree in Computer Applications, she studied in Sardar Patel College of Engineering.

After troubled marriage with musician Harmeet Singh from Meet Brothers, she found love again and married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015. Before Bigg Boss 13 stint, she participated in dance reality shows Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7. She played the character Bijli in 2004 film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi Bijli and female lead in ALT Balaji’s web series Baby Come Naa opposite Shreyas Talpade.

A few days ago, Bipasha shared a glimpse of her family vacation. In the picture, Devi sits next to Santa Claus while doting mother Bipasha can be seen looking at her. Karan can be seen striking a pose with actor Vivan Bhatena.

She also shared a video of Devi playing in a park and captioned it, “Nature lover.”

Bipasha and Karan welcomed their first child on November 12, 2022, six years after their marriage. Taking to Instagram, Bipasha shared a post through which she announced the name of her baby.

The picture read, “12.11.2022. Devi Basu Singh Grover. The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine.”

Bipasha and Karan first met on the set of Bhushan Patel’s film ‘Alone’ in the year 2015, which marked their first on-screen collaboration and they tied the knot after one year of dating in April 2016.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan is gearing up for the upcoming aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’. The film is primarily shot at air bases in India with real Sukhois, Indian fighter planes.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 winner Pallavi Prashanth detained after his fans vandalise runner-up’s car

Pallavi Prashanth, who surprised many by emerging as the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7, has been detained by police as his fans vandalised the car of Amardeep Chowdhary, the runner-up of the show. The incident happened outside Annapurna Studios on December 17. Apart from Amardeep’s car, RTC buses, and public properties were also vandalised.

ANI quoted Chandra Shekhar, Sub-Inspector of Jubilee Hills police station, Hyderabad, as saying, “A case has been registered against Prashanth and his followers for unlawful assembly and vandalism.”

It is said that after the finale on December 17, Pallavi Prashanth’s fans celebrated his win on the streets, which quickly became a nuisance to the public. Things turned worse when his fans started to vandalise cars and other vehicles outside Annapurna Studios. A video of the vandalism is going viral on social media. The incident has tainted the image of Prashanth, who was perceived as a representative of the masses in the show.

Actor couple Ajay Devgn  and Kajol on Thursday celebrated 23 years of their action-comedy Raju Chacha and took a trip down memory lane, sharing with fans how the film was made. Raju Chacha was directed by Ajay’s brother Anil Devgan.

The film also starred Rishi Kapoor, who both Ajay and Kajol mentioned in their tweets about the film’s anniversary. Raju Chacha was the debut production venture of Ajay Devgn.

Ajay took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote about working with Rishi Kapoor, why the film is close to his heart and how Kajol was the backbone of the film offering him “unwavering support”.

Raju Chacha followed the story of a con artist who must pose as the long-lost brother of a wealthy widower after his death and save the children and the fortune from their scheming relatives. It was one of the most anticipated films of the year and had hit music but wasn’t a box office success. First look of Rajinikanth from Laal Salaam 

The first look and name of Rajinikanth’s character from Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s next directorial Lal Salaam was unveiled at midnight.

Actor Rajinikanth joined the sets of his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial project Lal Salaam over the weekend. The first look poster along with the name of Rajinikanth’s character Moideen Bhai was unveiled at midnight. The poster earned mixed response from fans as some pointed out that it had to be better.

Lyca Productions took to Twitter to unveil the first look poster. It went with the caption: “Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai. Make way for #Thalaivar Superstar #Rajinikanth as #MoideenBhai in #LalSalaam (sic).”

In the comment section, some said that they weren’t happy with the poster and that the quality is substandard. One user wrote in Tamil: “Who is the designer? What kind of work is this? (sic).” Another user wrote in Tamil: “They could’ve just created a poster with Thalaivar’s airport look. This edit is not up to the mark. What is this? (sic).”

With Lal Salaam, Aishwarya returns to direction after a gap of seven years. Aishwarya’s last directorial project was Tamil action-thriller Vai Raja Vai, which also starred Dhanush in a cameo.

Lal Salaam is rumoured to be set against the backdrop of cricket and communism. It stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in lead roles. Rajinikanth’s portion will be entirely shot in Mumbai.

The film was launched with a pooja ceremony last year on November 5. Sharing pictures from the event, Aishwarya wrote on her Twitter page: “When your FATHER trusts in you.. When you believe GOD is by you. MIRACLES happen in true. After 7 long years. The journey begins again with grateful and joyful tears (sic).”

Rajinikanth will be seen playing an extended cameo in Lal Salaam. It went on floors earlier this year and the team has already completed filming a schedule. The movie has music by AR Rahman. Before commencing work on the project, he visited the Kadapa dargah where he was joined by Rajinikanth.

Gangubai Kathiawadi led the pack with 10 trophies including some of the biggest awards for the night

New Delhi: Bollywood’s award season kickstarted with the 68th edition of Filmfare Awards  last night. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Harshavardhan Kulkarni’s Badhaai Do were among the big winners. Gangubai Kathiawadi led the pack with 10 trophies including some of the biggest awards for the night – Best Film, Best Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Best Actress for Alia Bhatt. Rajkummar Rao won Best Actor Award for his performance in Badhaai Do. Meanwhile, Tabu and Bhumi Pednekar shared the award for the Best Actress (Critics) for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Badhaai Do, respectively. In the critics category, Sanjay Mishra won the Best Actor prize for his performance in Vadh.

Veteran actor Prem Chopra was given the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Best Debut (Male) award was won by Jhund actor Ankush Gedam. Anek actress Andrea Kevichusa won the Best Debut (Female) Award.

Rakesh Roshan reveals how Hrithik Roshan was told he could never make his physique but he started working out with books before his debut film.

Actor-turned-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently opened up about his actor son Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Rakesh had directed the film which marked Hrithik’s debut as a lead actor in Bollywood. During his recent appearance on the singing reality show Indian Idol, Rakesh shared the story of how Hrithik was cast in it. He said doctors had said that Hrithik couldn’t build up an impressive physique due to a health condition.

Sony shared a clip of Rakesh from Indian Idol along with the caption: “Rakesh ji ne batayi Hrithik ki journey as a proud father (proud father Rakesh shares Hrithik’s journey).” He said he was thinking about his next project after his 1997 directorial Koyla and whom to cast. “Mujhe kisine kaha ki isme koi naya ladka ho to acchha rahega, romantic film hogi. Hrithik bhi baedha hua tha, maine kaha Hrithik ko le lenge (someone told me to cast a new boy since it would be a romantic film. Hrithik was also there so I decided to cast him).”

Rakesh went on to add, “He was very lean and thin, doctors told, ‘aap kabhi apni physique nahi bana sakte, aap dance nahi kar sakte kyunki aapke inherent kujh problem hai spinal cord mein (doctors said Hrithik can never make his physique because of an inherent problem in the spinal cord)’. But he challenged everything, he started exercising with books and slowly, slowly with books he came to dumbbells and dumbbells se usne fir ye sab apni physique banayi (then he made his physique).”

During a song launch event last year, Hrithik too had talked about how doctors had restricted him from doing action or dance films before the release of his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in 2000. According to ANI, he said, “Before the release of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai my doctors had told me that my health condition is not so good that I can do action films and dance films. I took this diagnosis as a challenge and focused on my health and fitness. I learnt how to do my work to the best of my abilities and I’m just happy to be here standing in front of you’ll today. It is nothing short of a miracle for me that in my 25th film, I’m still doing action and I’m still dancing and I’m still being able to say my dialogues. I think the 21-year-old me, would be very proud of this me, today.”

Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai went on to become a blockbuster. Hrithik had a dual role in the film and was cast opposite Ameesha Patel. He will now be seen in Siddharth Anand’s action film Fighter, opposite Deepika Padukone. He is known as one of the fittest actors and dancers in the film industry.
