The vendors sell popular desi foods and drinks and work hard to make ends meet. The internet is full of inspiring stories of some street food vendors. Now another video has come to light in which a 78-year-old street food vendor is seen selling lemon soda on the streets of Amritsar, Punjab, and managing his cart all by himself.
In the clip, uploaded on Twitter, the elderly Sikh says that he sells lemon soda to earn a living but doesn’t have any help. While preparing a glass of lemon soda, the man also shares that he has been doing the work for 25 years.
On being asked how he manages to pull such a heavy cart, the old man replies that he has no other option but to keep working in order to buy food.
“Let’s call the day praising babaji from Amritsar selling lemon soda on streets. 80 years of age, his eyesight is poor, can’t hear properly, knees don’t work, still carries soda cart for whole day under scorching heat. His smile is heartbreaking. Salute to his hard work,” the caption read.
