Pak Army unable to feed its soldiers; Food crisis mounts amid record inflation

Pakistan is struggling to feed its soldiers amid the ongoing economic crisis. The Pakistan Army is reportedly facing a food shortage in mess halls due to a shortage in food supply amid sky-high inflation. Pakistan’s top military commanders have raised concerns regarding the food supplies with Army Chief General Asim Munir. According to the report, the Pakistan Army said that it couldn’t afford to cut supplies and logistics as it would hamper their operations in border areas against militants.
